GORONTALO – The 2024 Student Creativity Program (PKM) School Program of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo Batch I trained assigned advising lecturers of the PKM program through Training of Trainers (TOT) on Monday (5/2).
Chair of the Academic Support Unit (UPA) for Career Development and Entrepreneurship, Zhulmaydin Chairil Fachrussyah, S.St.Pi, M.Si, asserted that the training marked a part of preparation to welcome the 2024 Student Creativity Program competition. This training aimed to prepare advising lecturers for showing full assistance to students to qualify for funding from the Ministry of Education and Culture.
"Lecturers will play their roles as companions for students in participating in Student Creativity Program, so that the training is necessary in relation to having an efficient assistance for the students" said Zhulmaydin.
He said that the training, attended by mostly young lecturers, focused on understanding the scheme of the Student Creativity Program being implemented by the Ministry of Education and Culture in 2024. Apart from that, the training also provided reinforcement regarding assessment material for student proposals accompanied by lecturers both in assessment stage I and stage II.
Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni Prof. Dr. Muhamad Amir Arham, M.E., wished that through the training, lecturers could be further motivated to accompany students in preparing PKM proposals. It is believed that good assistance will lead to a better UNG achievement through students’ work and creativity (**)
