Gorontalo - The Rector of Universitas Negeri Gorontalo and several Law Faculty officials held a discussion on Thursday, July 25, 2023.

On this occasion, the Rector emphasized the Faculty of Law to have differential value from Law study programs at other universities.

"The design for developing a distinctive study program model should not be copied from study programs at other universities, so our differential values from other law faculties in Indonesia must be strengthened," he asked.

The Rector asked the Faculty of Law to map the strengths of each study program immediately. Also, the faculty must move forward according to its potential and scientific direction.

"The scientific expertise of each lecturer must be immediately regulated," said Eduart.

According to Eduart, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo has excellent programs, namely agro-maritime, and area-based education and fisheries. The UNG Faculty of Law must take part in elaborating UNG’s agenda to become “The Engine of Tomini Bay”.

Furthermore, the Dean of Faculty of Law, Wenny Dungga, stated that the Rector’s confirmation would be followed up immediately.

"We would like to thank the Rector, who has guided us to immediately determine priorities, differential values, modeling departments/study programs, and profiling lecturers within the Faculty of Law. So, we will immediately follow up on these directions." explained Wenny, a graduate of the Doctoral Program at Brawijaya University, Malang.
