GORONTALO – UNG Medical Faculty (MF) has collaborated in the field of education with the regional government of Pohuwato Regency. This collaboration was marked with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) represented by the Dean of MF Dr. dr. Cecy Rahma Karim, Sp.GK., with the Pohuwato Regency Government represented by the Head of the Tourism, Youth and Sports Agency, Dra. Rusmiati Pakaya, M.Pd.
In her remarks, the Dean said that the signing of this cooperation agreement aimed to improve the quality of human resources in Pohuwato Regency, especially in the field of medical science. This collaboration was hoped to provide great benefits for the development of education and health for Pohuwato Regency residents.
"This collaboration is a strategic step in supporting medical education and bridging the need for medical personnel in Pohuwato Regency," said Cecy.
This cooperation agreement agrees that the Pohuwato Regency government will fund the education of Medical Faculty students from Pohuwato Regency. Later on, the Medical Faculty will provide regular reports on progress in achievements and other aspects related to students who receive financial support from the regional government.
"The support from the Regional Government should have encouraged students who receive assistance to make a positive contribution to health services in their home areas after completing their education," she concluded. (**)
