The UNG Library assigned a team of librarians to provide assistance in 5 villages that received assistance from the National Library of Indonesia. This assistance is carried out at the Office of Archives and Libraries in Pohuwato Regency and village libraries located in Pohuwato Regency in order to encourage capacity building for village library services.

Head of UNG Library Dr. Ismet Sulila, SE, M.Si, said that there were three agendas during the visit of the UPT Library team. "Our team socializes the use of foreign language learning applications, management of library materials and optimization of INLISLite," Ismet said.

Ismet added that the visit was also a follow-up to the collaboration between the UNG Library and the Pohuwato Regency Archives and Library Office, and Banuroja Village, which is a UNG-assisted village.

During this visit, UPT Library assigned Dr. Abid as a resource person in the socialization of the use of the Duolingo application to learn foreign languages. Alfian Zakaria as resource person for the socialization of INLISLite optimization, who was accompanied by Bahyudin, S.Sos, Rahmawaty Tulie, S.Hum and Indriyati Duda, A.Ma.P. Discussions related to other library management were guided directly by the Head of the UNG Library accompanied by Praditya Desria Hamzah, SM, Sutrisna Pateda, S.Kom, Ismun Sulila, and Melisawaty Pakaya.

"Our hope is that the village library can continue to be useful as a source of lifelong learning for the surrounding community, especially since the National Library of Indonesia has provided various assistance, both library materials and computer equipment to support services in 5 village libraries in Pohuwato Regency," Ismet concluded.

With the increasing quality of infrastructure in village libraries, efforts to improve librarian human resources are also important to continue. "UPT library will continue to be committed to participating in providing assistance for the development of village libraries, especially in villages assisted by UNG in Gorontalo Province," concluded Ismet.
