UNG Admitted 145 Inbound Students of Batch 4 of PMM-DN Program

GORONTALO – 145 students from Indonesian universities take part in the Emancipated - Domestic Student Exchange (PMM-DN) program at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. The arrival of hundreds of students at UNG was welcomed by the Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohamad Amir Arham, M.E., on Thursday (1/20) in the UNG Rectorate Hall.

As UNG’s program coordinator, Dr. Nova Elysia Ntobuo, M.Si. explained that UNG will admit 145 students from 70 state and private universities in Indonesia for the PMM-DN batch 4 program in 2024. Later, students will study for one semester in various study programs at UNG.

"This inbound PMM-DN batch 4 has attracted 1500 students from various universities who chose UNG as the destination campus. However, only the selected 145 students who will claim their spots" said Nova.

According to her, apart from studying for one semester, inbound PMM-DN students will participate in Nusantara module activities included in the lectures, which worth 4 credits. The Nusantara module activities will be held every Saturday and Sunday with a total of 16 meetings.

"The Nusantara module is implemented to strengthen national insight, by understanding the culture and society. Later, 6 UNG lecturers will supervise this implementation" she explained.

Meanwhile, the Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohamad Amir Arham, M.E., welcomed 145 students from various universities. Amir also expressed his gratitude for trusting UNG as the university chosen for the PMM-DN program this time.

"The choice of UNG by 1.500 students who registered for PMM-DN, indicates that the public increasingly trusts and believes in UNG's qualifications. So that we commit to maintain this trust by continuing to improve the quality and institutional capacity of UNG," said Amir. (**)
