GORONTALO – As an international student exchange program, or the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) 2024, is approaching, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo is gearing up to select university-level IISMA participants.
Vice-Rector for Cooperation, Planning and Information System, Dr. Harto Malik, M.Hum., said that university-level selection was carried out to select the best students who would be included in the 2024 IISMA selection.
"This year, we wish at least two students to be awarded as participants of the IISMA 2024 program. Apart from carrying out the selection, these students will be assisted by UPA Bahasa (Language Center) later regarding preparation for the tests they will take later," said Harto.
The Head of UPA Bahasa explained that 111 students, representatives from 11 faculties, participated in the university-level selection. At the university-level selection, students take the English Proficiency Test (EPT) exam, which will be held on January 22-26, 2024. Later, students who pass the EPT exam will be assisted in taking the Duolingo English Test (DET) as a requirement for registering for IISMA 2024.
"Students who register and pass the 2024 IISMA registration administration selection will again be assisted in participating in the interview session. So that this assistance provided will increase the number of UNG students participating in the IISMA 2024 program," he explained. (**)
