GORONTALO – In developing the potential and creativity of students to welcome the industrial era 4.0, the Industrial Engineering Student Association is again holding the Industrial Engineering Science Week (PENTRI) chapter VI in 2021.
The head of the committee for activities, Safrul Dama explained, Pentri is a routine activity carried out every year by student organizations to accommodate student creativity. For the PENTRI chapter VI, the theme is increasing creativity to build the generation that is capable to compete in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0.
"This year, PENTRI will hold a national webinar with speakers from the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, arc welding competition, industrial expo and industrial product design and development competition," he said.
Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Dr. Sardi Salim, M.Pd, said that this kind of activity is important to accommodate students so that they can continue to develop. "Take advantage of this activity to be able to continue to sharpen your potential and creativity, because competing in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 requires creativity," he said.
Meanwhile, the Rector of UNG, Dr. Eduart Wolok, S.T, M.T, marks that PENTRI is an activity that must be supported and developed in order to produce good and beneficial output for the community. (**)
