Good news for school students who have various achievements. The reason is that the State University of Gorontalo took a breakthrough by converting achievements at the national and international levels achieved by students while attending education at the High School, Vocational High School, or Madrasah Aliyah levels.
"Achievements at the national or international level that have been achieved by students while in school, later when they study at UNG can be converted into several credits," said the Rector of UNG, Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok, ST, MT, when opening the Vocational Festival at Boalemo State Vocational High School, Thursday (9/6).
According to the Rector, currently UNG has formulated a program related to the recognition of student achievement. So that when entering and studying at UNG, students who have achievements in academic and non-academic at the national and international levels will be converted into a number of course credits.
"So students do not need to study with the number of general student credits, because their achievements will be rewarded in the form of lecture credits," he explained.
The Chancellor said the steps taken were a breakthrough, to appreciate the achievements that have been hard earned by students while at school.
