GORONTALO – A total of 66 of students who graduated from the UNG Sports and Health Faculty have officially completed the nurse profession education program. The students’ milestone was marked by an oath-taking procession for nurses graduating from the nursing profession class of XVII on Monday (19/2), at the Grand Sumber Ria Building.
The Head of UNG Nurse Profession Education program, Ns Ika Wulansari, S.Kep., M.Kep., revealed that the oath-taking procession was a sign that graduates had successfully completed their education. During this period, class of XVII graduates managed to record very satisfactory academic achievements with an average GPA above 3,50.
“Even, this oath-taking moment sparks a joyous feeling as a graduate managed to get a GPA of 4.00. Also, the competency test stage shows students passing the tes whic reached 98,4%, and only one student failed," she said.
The UNG Rector, represented by the Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs Prof. Dr. Muhamad Amir Arham, M.E., congratulated the UNG graduates, who had gone through the nursing oath procession. This condition will increase in the availability of ready-to-use health workers in Gorontalo Province.
"It is hoped that the increasing number of qualified health human resources produced by UNG can encourage the strengthening of quality health services for communities in remote areas," he hoped. (**)
