GORONTALO – After his appointment as Dean of the Law Faculty, Dr. Weny Almoravid Dungga, S.H., M.H., showed his immediate earnestness in institutional development. One of the results was the selection of the UNG Legal Aid Institute as the provider of Class IA Gorontalo District Court legal aid institute.

Weny said that LBH UNG was chosen because it met administrative requirements. Then, the qualification tests resulted in LBH UNG being deemed very worthy of being a partner of the Gorontalo District Court in providing legal aid services to the community.

"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), this year, we will partner with the Gorontalo District Court to provide legal aid to the community. This partnership proves that the quality of LBH is excellent and has received recognition from other institutions," he said.

Through LBH UNG's involvement in providing legal aid, Weny wants the role of the Law Faculty to be more impactful in the community, particularly through legal aid for people in need.

"This recognition strengthens LBH UNG's role in providing quality legal services to the community. It also confirms full trust in LBH UNG's ability and dedication to provide quality legal aid in the Gorontalo area," he concluded.

Chairman of LBH UNG, Irlan Puluhulawa, S.H., M.H., expressed that LBH UNG's participation in the selection of candidates for Gorontalo District Court Legal Aid Consultant Services was a manifestation of the implementation of Tridharma of Higher Education and our commitment as a means for underprivileged communities in seeking justice.

"We will try our best so that the presence of LBH UNG, through the Legal Aid Post service at the Gorontalo District Court, can provide the greatest benefit to the community," he hoped. (**)
