GORONTALO - The results of the 2023 Student Executive Board (BEM) President and Vice President election stages have been determined. Student of the Faculty of Sports and Health (FOK) Hendrawan Datukramat and Student of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Asnianti Awila were appointed as the elected President and Vice President of BEM for the 2023 period.

Head of the Direct Election Commission (KPL) Jamaludin Puluhulawa revealed that based on the 2023 Pilbem stages carried out by KPL, the FOK-FMIPA representative candidate had been determined as the winner. The pair was declared the winner because it was the only pair of candidates who registered, according to the registration procedure set by KPL at the current Pilbem.

"After registration, it is continued with verification of the candidate pair’s files, then the submission of completeness and deficiencies, and the determination of verified file," he said.

After the administrative stage, a period of objection was carried out, during which no objections were found for the only pair of candidates who registered. Then after going through various series of stages, said Jamaludin, KPL appointed a pair of candidates from FOK-FMIPA as President and Vice President of BEM 2023.

"This is the first time that the President and Vice President of BEM UNG have been appointed under these conditions. Furthermore, the elected pair is currently on the wait for the inauguration by the Rector, "he concluded. (**)
