GORONTALO – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) is committed to supporting regional development in the Boalemo Regency area. This commitment was demonstrated by signing a cooperation agreement with the Government of Boalemo Regency on Thursday (24/1).
The Dean of FMIPA, Dr. Fitryane Lihawa, M.Si., and the Head of Boalemo Environment and Transportation Agency, Ir. Roswita Novia Is. Manto, M.Si. and Head of the Boalemo Regional Planning, Research and Development Agency Srijun Tasman Dangkua, SP, MM created the collaboration agreement.
The dean of FMIPA, Dr. Fitryane Lihawa, M.Si., said that this collaboration confirmed FMIPA’s commitment to contributing positively to the implementation of development in Boalemo Regency. Later, the cooperation agreement will cover various fields, such as implementing education, training, studies, research, and community service.
"It is hoped that this collaboration will result in a positive impact through various innovative solutions to support regional development," said Fitryane.
A highlight of the collaboration agreement was signing the cooperation implementation document between the Geography Education Study Program and the Environmental Science Study Program with the Boalemo Environment and Transportation Agency.
"This agenda shows a real commitment to integrating science and knowledge from FMIPA to support environmental sustainability and local development," she explained. (**)
