GORONTALO – The Faculty of Medicine finally has the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) organization after the inauguration of the chairman and management of the DWP faculty of medicine by the Chairperson of the DWP UNG, dr. Cecy Wolok Karim, Sp.GK which was held in the Hall of the UNG DWP Building, Tuesday (9/11).

In her speech, Cecy congratulated all the management of the DWP faculty of medicine who had been officially inaugurated. With the inauguration of the management, the DWP of the medical faculty can contribute and work hand in hand in supporting the performance of the DWP UNG.

"The presence of the medical faculty DWP is a great strength for us to support UNG towards an excellent and competitive campus," said Cecy.

Cecy hopes that after the inauguration, the management of the DWP faculty of medicine can immediately hold work meetings and draw up programs that can synergize with the DWP UNG program. Apart from that, the most important thing, said Cecy, is that the program carried out by DWP can support the realization of the vision and mission as well as contribute to the medical faculty itself covering the fields of education, economics and social affairs.

“The programs that are prepared don't need to be grandiose, but make practical programs in the context of self-development of the organization as well as programs that are in direct contact with the community," he hoped.

Meanwhile, the chairman of the DWP faculty of medicine, dr. Trisna Silawati, Sp.A, M.Kes, admitted that she would soon synergize with DWP UNG regarding the work program to be determined by the management. According to her, as a faculty in charge of health, the DWP of the medical faculty will also be concerned with health programs.

“Activities such as social services and free health services to people in need will also continue to be carried out, so that the existence and organization of the DWP under the auspices of the medical faculty can be felt by the public," she concluded.
