GORONTALO – The National Heroes Day which is commemorated by all Indonesian people, even as a historic moment for Indonesia, is also commemorated by the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Universitas Negeri Gorontalo.

This activity began with an aerobic activity which was attended by all members of the UNG DWP which was also enlivened by a cheap bazaar, then the activity continued with the main event, namely the implementation of a cone making competition. In this competition, all DWP faculties and employees took part, by making and displaying the best tumpeng creations which would be judged by the judges.

Head of DWP UNG, dr. Cecy Wolok Karim, Sp.GK, said the activities carried out were a forum to increase the relationship between all DWP UNG management, faculties and employees.

“We hope that our relationship can continue to be built, so that in order to maintain our relationship, we are holding this competition,” said Cecy.

According to him, in this competition, participants are not only required to be able to make tumpeng creations, but also include several aspects of assessment, namely nutritional and health values, taste and creativity.

“All aspects of the assessment must be well integrated by the participants in each of the tumpeng creations made. Of course, those who fulfill all these assessments will be the best,” he explained.

Based on the results of the competition assessment, the winner of the tumpeng creation this time was the DWP of the medical faculty, then the second best was the DWP of the faculty of social sciences and the third best was the DWP of the faculty of education.
