As one of the campuses that held a Computer-Based Writing Examination (UTBK) for the Joint Selection of State University Admissions (SBMPTN), Universitas Negeri Gorontalo paid special attention to the spread of COVID-19 at the test location. During the UTBK-SBMPTN in the first and second waves, the implementation of health protocols remains a priority to be applied to participants, invigilators and the organizing committee.
According to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Dr. Harto Malik, M.Hum, the application of the health protocol is in line with the LTMPT instructions contained in the Standard Operational Procedures during the UTBK.
“Participants, invigilators and committee members are required to wear masks while at the exam location. For participants who will enter the exam room, body temperature will be measured first and disinfectant liquid will be sprayed on the participants' hands," Harto said.
To ensure that the test support devices are free from the covid-19 virus, all computer devices that have been used by participants will be re-sterilized by officers who spray disinfectant at the end of each exam session.
"This is an effort to ensure that the UTBK UNG facilities are free from the Covid-19 virus. In addition, participants are also prohibited from creating a crowd at the exam location, if they have finished taking the exam, they are expected to leave immediately," he explained.
Held by Faculty of Education Universitas Negeri Gorontalo and supported by ten universities as co-hosts and an organisation.
