GORONTALO – Universitas Negeri Gorontalo keeps on producing best graduates, and it is marked through a graduation of 1972 students along with their academic degrees from various fields. The inauguration of thousands of UNG's graduates was held in the 49th graduation procession for doctoral, master's, professional, undergraduate and diploma programs for the 2023/2024 academic year on Wednesday (21/2), at the UNG Auditorium.

This graduation ceremony edition was led by the UNG Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok, S.T., M.T., and attended by the Chair of the University Senate, Prof. Dr. Rauf A Hatu, M.Si, as well as members of the University senate.

In his speech, the Rector stated that the graduates’ academic degrees were a proud achievement that should be grateful for. Also, he insisted that accomplishing higher education is not an easy job, as it requires dedication, hard work and sacrifice to obtain knowledge as capital to make your dreams come true in the future.

“Congratulations for all UNG graduates for this milestone, and you must use the knowledge gained as capital to work and face the future," said the Rector.

The Rector hopes that achieving an academic degree should make graduates as wise as a proverb saying “the riper the rice, the more deeply it bows”. As alumni of the UNG community campus, graduates must be able to be polite intellectuals, and can make positive contributions to the surrounding community.

"All of graduates will also be the campus's representation in society, so be good graduates and make your beloved alma mater UNG proud. Use the knowledge and skills you gain during study to work, especially to contribute to social life," concluded the Rector. (**)
