Gorontalo: The Tomini Bay Area Pre-Regional Meeting has been completed with some result points regarding the Tomini Bay area's development. First, a particular institution between regional heads and universities is necessary. Second, a mutual understanding to map the potential, problems, and common agenda in developing the Tomini Bay area.

It was presented by the Rector of Gorontalo State University, Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok, ST, MT to the Minister of Village PTT Dr. (H.C.) Drs. A. Halim Iskandar, M.Pd., in an audience on Tuesday (3/9), at the Ministry of Villages, Disadvantaged Areas and Transmigration's Office, Jakarta. In addition, the Minister requested that the Tomini Bay Regional Meeting agenda be held on April 3 and 4, 2021.  Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, K.H. Ma'ruf Amen, is also scheduled to open this event.

"The Regional Meeting is planned to be opened by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia," said the Minister of PDTT, Dr. (H.C.) Drs. A. Halim Iskandar, M.Pd.

At the same time, the Rector of UNG said that the Tomini Bay Regional Meeting would be attended by the Head of Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Agung Firman Sampurna, Deputy Chairman of the House of Representative Drs. Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar, and the Minister of PPN / Head of the Indonesian National Development Planning Agency Dr. (H.C.) Ir. H. Suharso Monoarfa.
