The Gorontalo State University Student democracy party for 2021 is rolling again. In the election for President and Vice President of BEM UNG this year, two pairs of candidates will compete to win the votes of UNG Students to rule the Student Organization. The two candidate pairs are candidate pair number one, Rezky Putra Mantali - Abdul W. Hulopi, representatives of the Sports and Health Faculty and the Fisheries and Marine Sciences Faculty. Meanwhile, candidate pair number two is Rian Haka - Harianto Laode, representing the Faculty of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Law. According to the Vice-Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs, Prof. Karmila Mahmud, M. A, Ph.D., the two candidates who have been determined will compete to win the UNG Student’s votes election process, which will be held on February 9, 2021.

"The election process is carried out by E-Vote, which is expected to facilitate participation in the election, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic situation," explained Karmila. In the election process later, he hopes that all related parties, especially students, can succeed in all election stages. "The success of this Democracy party is, of course, always upholding democratic values that are honest, fair, free, direct, and confidential," she concluded. (Wahid)
