Gorontalo – In order to prepare graduates of State University of Gorontalo to compete the world of work, UPT of Students Career Development Center UNG held a Students Career Development Training in Aula PKM UNG on 21 June 2016. This activity carried out in order to support the existence of graduates and increasing quality of alumni.

Irwan Yantu, S.Pd, M.Si, Director of Students Career Development Center said the purpose of this training is “preparing alumni to compete in the world of work”. Moreover, the training theme is very important for alumni and for the students to be qualified in finding job.

In this training, Students Career Development Center of UNG focus on writing curriculum vitae, tips of succeeding job interview and TOEFL Training.

Farid Muhamad, S.Pd, MA, Head of Career Development Center said “speakers of this training is the best alumni of UNG who succeed in their career and the participants are alumni and also the students in last semester who will soon on graduation”.

Related to this event, Dr. Fence Wantu, SH, MH Vise Rector of students’ affair and alumni appreciates the step taken by Students Career Development Center. He said that this is not to only give the equip alumni and to fulfill the University’s internal target which is to achieve A for institutional accreditation. “The improvement of students’ quality will indeed improve the ‘bargain’ position of alumni to compete in the world of work,” he said.
