Gorontalo: To encourage increased participation of the academic community in regional development, Library Technical Implementation Unit (Library Unit) held a Book Review program. This program was held in the Theater Room of UPT Perpustakaan, with the theme "Acceleration of Knowledge to Develop Regions through College's Research Results with Local Governments" (Wednesday, 31/3).

The Head of the Book Review Program Executive Committee, Roni Lukum, M.Sc, said that this program is a library service to encourage the improvement of the quality and quantity of scientific works in the UNG environment. "We hope, through this book review event, the lecturer’s research results can be applied to accelerate regional development," said Roni.

UNG Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr. Harto Malik, M. Hum., in his speech, said that the book review program was a positive activity that was beneficial for UNG and the community. "As a lecturer, writing is an absolute thing as a means of disseminating knowledge for the benefit of society. Therefore, novelties are needed in each research result to encourage accelerated regional development," explained Harto.

In this book review, The Library Unit invited three lecturers as book authors; Dr. Irwan, M.Kes, Dr. Muchtar Ahmad, M.Si, and Roni Lukum, M.Si. Meanwhile, the surgeon who reviewed the book manuscript was Prof. Dr. Rauf A. Hatu, M.Si, Prof. Dr. Asna Aneta, M.Si and Lia Amalia, M.Kes," closed Roni Lukum.
