Gorontalo: The success of the Faculty of Law Team in winning First Place in the Indonesian Student Debate Competition (KDMI) UNG feels even more special with the achievements of the first and second-best speakers. For this success, the Faculty of Law Team led by Sri Nurwanda and Riska Buhungo was asked to represent the UNG Team at the Regional and National KDMI levels.

As the UNG Representative, the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Alumni Prof. Karmila Mahmud, M.A, Ph.D., admitted that he had high hopes for the two Law Faculty students to qualify and excel at the National level.

"This hope is possible to be realized because the team that represents UNG is quite strong and has potential. Moreover, they have the full support of the great faculty and seniors," said Karmila.

In supporting this hope, the Student Affairs Sector, said Karmila, will continue to provide assistance and training as much as possible.

"If you need a National coach, then I am ready to make it happen. Because I see that UNG Representatives have potentials that need to be polished, in order to be able to develop proposals that can provide appropriate and accurate solutions accompanied by data," explained Karmila.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Herman Didipu, M.Pd, the two Law Faculty students were asked to represent the UNG Team because both were selected as the first and second-best speakers at the KDMI UNG level.

"Becoming a Team Champion does not mean becoming a representative of the UNG Team at the regional and national levels. However, because based on the quantitative assessment, each participant placed representatives of the Faculty of Law as the first and second-best speakers, then both have the right to appear as the UNG Team Representative," he concluded.
