15 Student Groups Succeed in PKM Grants

Gorontalo: Achievements in Student Affairs for 2021 began to be made by UNG Students. Follows the passing of 15 Student Groups to obtain Student Creativity Program (PKM) grants by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research and Technology.

Fifteen groups of students who passed consisted of 4 groups each from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and the Faculty of Letters and Culture, three groups from the Faculty of Sports and Health, two groups from the Faculty of Agriculture, and 1 group each for the Faculty of Engineering and Medicine Study Program.

The Head of UPT PKM UNG revealed that all groups that passed were funded after an assessment from the Ministry. The PKM fields that pass include PKM-K (Entrepreneurship), PKM-KC (Karsa Cipta), PKM PI (Application of Science and Technology), PKM PM (Community Service), PKM RE (Exact Research), and PKM RSH (Social Humanities Research).

"Last year, eight teams from UNG were successfully funded by the Ministry. Alhamdulillah, this year, the teams that qualify for funding have increased the number of 15 groups. This is certainly an encouraging achievement," said Erol.

Meanwhile, UNG Rector Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok, S.T, M.T, also congratulated the success of 15 Student Groups to Pass PKM Program funding. The increase in the number of groups graduating this year indicates that UNG students have great potential to record achievements through their creativity and innovation.

"Congratulations to students who pass the PKM funding this year. This success certainly shows the development of excellent achievements," he concluded. (Wahid)
