Gorontalo: Students of Gorontalo State University who currently have a business and wish to expand their business. We have a piece of good news because the Student Career Development Unit (UPT. PKM) will facilitate your business.
Student's business will be facilitated through Indonesian Student Entrepreneurial Activities (Ina: KBMI) and Indonesian Student Startup Acceleration (Ina: ASMI) programs. Both are part of the 2021 Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship Program (Ina: PKMI), which the Ministry of Education and Culture initiated through the Directorate General of Higher Education.
According to the Head of UPT. PKM UNG Z.C Fachrussyah, S.St.Pi, M.Si, the KBMI program is expected to support the government's visions and missions for the development of new entrepreneurs in realizing the nation's independence through the development of student entrepreneurship. The entrepreneurial category includes food and beverage, services and trade, production/cultivation, applied technology, creative industry.
"While ASMI is more focused on student entrepreneurship in the form of digital businesses. The goal is to encourage Indonesian student startups to develop into global startups," he explained.
To participate in the KBMI program, there are several requirements, including students who are active in undergraduate education programs and have a business running for at least six months with groups of 3-5 students. While specifically for the ASMI program, it is required to have a digital startup for at least six months and already have web apps or mobile apps already running.
Registration for the two programs is done online on the https://sim-pkmi.kemdikbud.go.id page. Student groups who pass the selection will receive 25 million Rupiah business and startup development assistance.
"They will participate in an entrepreneurship workshop with successful practitioners and entrepreneurs in Indonesia for the KBMI program. Meanwhile, the ASMI program will receive coaching in the form of workshops and assistance through the Student Startup Accelerator Camp (SSAC)," he explained. (Wahid)
