Gorontalo: Gorontalo State University has officially formed an Internal Quality Assurance System Auditors team following the inauguration of 28 auditors by the Rector of UNG, Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok, S.T, M.T, Monday (10/5).
In his speech, UNG Rector Dr. Ir. Eduart Wolok, S.T, M.T, expressed his gratitude to 28 lecturers who were committed to guarding the internal quality of UNG by becoming a team of auditors. According to him, the Auditor Team is a partner of the Chancellor because it is directly responsible to the Chancellor.
"Through this inauguration, there will be more Rector partners who are responsible for overseeing the improvement of the internal quality of UNG. With this, I feel that I have increased confidence in welcoming the new academic year in providing the best academic services for students, " he said.
The auditor team's presence, said the Rector, would be significant if we both could improve the quality of UNG's academic services because the quality of academic services is in the heart of Higher Education. The main element must be continuously strengthened.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the LPPPM UNG, Prof. Ansar, M.Pd, explained that the formation of the internal auditor team was a collaboration between UNG and UGM which provided training for one week for UNG auditors.
"So far, UNG does not have special staff to audit academic quality assurance. With their presence, it is hoped that the process of improving academic quality can be carried out in a more structured and planned manner according to what is in the field." He hoped. (Wahid)
