GORONTALO - Gorontalo City is the most developed city in Gorontalo Province, even in the Tomini Bay area, which has the prima donna's service sector.

The Rector of Gorontalo State University, in a webinar with the theme Towards a Smart City: Regulation, Challenges, and Innovation (25/2), said that the existence of Gorontalo City as a leading service sector must be touched with services with a smart city approach to support Gorontalo City as a service city.

"We hope that in the future, Gorontalo will become a dynamic city. This dynamic city must be emphasized with a transformative regional vision. The agenda and programs must be designed to be like a hub or trade and service hub in the Tomini Bay area. Of course, we have to organize and run it well so that this can change Gorontalo in the future," said Eduart.

Eduart further said that a dynamic city has four targets:

- Maximum service standards- Reliable spatial system indicators- Maximum customer satisfaction indicators- Environmental sustainability indicators

"To implement this model, a bottom-up model approach must be carried out. The development of a Dynamic Musrenbang Model (Forum to explore ideas and aspirations), analysis of coherence with program guidelines and projections of the city's future, and making a strategic map of coherent ideas based on several critical variables based on input from below ", said Eduart.

The webinar with the theme Towards a Smart City: Regulation, Challenges, and Innovation organized by the Climate Institute supported by the Friedrich Nauman Foundation, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, the UNG Innovation Center, and the Gorontalo City Communication and Information Agency also presented the Mayor of Gorontalo as a speaker.
