Gorontalo: Postgraduate program at the State University of Gorontalo has succeeded in bringing 77 students to achieve academic degrees. The graduates at the Masters and Doctoral levels were inaugurated through the "Ramah Tamah" Graduation Ceremony, Wednesday (24/3) at the UNG Postgraduate Hall.

UNG Postgraduate Director, Professor Hansel Asna Anteta, M.Sc, said graduates of the Postgraduate Program consisted of 66 from master programs and 11 from the Public Administration and Education Doctoral Studies program.

"The graduates who have been confirmed today will automatically carry out the title of Master and Doctorate in the graduation procession which will be held on March 29, 2021," Asna said.

According to Asna, in galvanizing students, postgraduates program not just focus on pursuing quantity graduates but producing quality graduates.

"Even though we were in the Covid-19 period last year, we tried to produce quality graduates. It was realized through the educational and learning processes carried out online and onsite," she explained.

Meanwhile, the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs hopes that graduates who achieved the Magister and Doctoral Academic not feel complacent. But this achievement can be motivating the graduates to improve their abilities and knowledge.

"Congratulations to the postgraduate's graduation, don't be complacent with what you got today. Keep improves your knowledge even though it's not in the campus environment," Harto said. (Wahid)
